Pelvic Power matwork class

Pelvic Power matwork class

By: Kerrie Murphy | 24/09/2014

A big thank you to all the women who took part in the fund raising event for Jean Hailes women’s health week, Pelvic power Pilates mat work class at our Infinity Pilates studio. It was a huge success.  There was a great turn out of women from all ages keen to get moving.

The presentation began with a brief discussion about the pelvic floor and why Pilates is so helpful in creating and maintaining its support and function through the Pilates exercises. There were some real light bulb moments from many in the class!

The mat work class drew all the points of discussion into practice. To see everyone breath and move together brought a strong and powerful energy to the class. It was a also an emotional realisation to me of why I love to teach this work. It is so incredibility rewarding to share the depth and understand of the Pilates method and how it helps us through our everyday lives.

I look forward to presenting the next event late November. Stay posted, details will be announced very soon.
